Kingfisher PH300 – 4kW Table Top Patio Heater Review
This heater is 88cm tall and will provide warmth and light at an affordable price, but is it worth the money? This heater has an average rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 based on 43 customer reviews. Does it live up to its hype? Keep reading to find out!
Unfortunately, there’s no official statement of the heating area about this heater, but based on similar heaters we would expect this heater to provide between 4-6sqm of heat coverage based on 13,656BTUs of output.
This heater is powered by gas and will take either Propane or Butane as a fuel source.
Power Settings & Specifics
With an adjustable heat setting, you can set the power on this heater from 1kW (3414 BTUs) up to a maximum of 4kW (13656 BTUs).
The Kingfisher 4kw table top heater comes in a modern serene green and a power coated finish.
Features & Extras
We love our extras and this heater has handy piezo ignition and comes with a free hose, but unfortunately no regulator. You should be able to buy one from your gas supplier, but if not you can buy one online cheaply.
This is very much a heater for the home rather than the commercial user. The small size makes it portable and can be setup in just a few minutes. Users have commented that the hose will fit through the hole in a patio table meaning it’s out of sight (and out of mind).
How much does the Kingfisher PH300 4kW Heater cost to run?
Gas heaters tend to be cheaper than electric heater per kW of consumption but will cost more in gas.
Based on a 4000W table top patio heater & a 12kg tank of gas costing £33
12000W = 1kg (1kg of usage per 12000W per hour)
4000W / 12000W = 0.33kg (4000W usage per hour)
12kg / 0.25kg = 36.36 hours per 12kg tank of gas
£33 / 36.36 hours = £0.90 per hour
Half power 2kW = £0.90 / 2 = £0.45 per hour
Low Power 1kW = £0.45 / 2 = £0.225p per hour
How long with my gas tank last with the Kingfisher 4kW patio heater?
This depends on the size of your tank, but we’ve got you covered whatever your tank size! These figures are based on full power usage.

Kingfisher PH300 4kW Table Top Heater£74.99
- Comes with Gas Hose
- Adjustable Heat Settings (1kW to 4kW)
- Fairly Cheap to Run
- Piezo Ignition
- Great Reviews From Existing Users
- No Longer Supplied With Gas Regulator
- Has Been Seen Cheaper Previously
We’ve never been big fans of gas heaters but this little number ticks a lot of boxes. Piezo ignition is a must-have in today’s world, it does come with a gas hose, but they’ve recently stopped providing the heater with a regulator. It has been seen a little cheaper at £54.99 via Wowcher, but at £74.99 it’s still great value for money.
