Measuring in at 238cm tall this patio heater is anything but small! Built from stainless steel this heater should survive the elements season after season and keep you warm in style.

Heating Area

This patio heater has an approximate heating area of 19.6sqm thanks to its 80cm diameter reflecting head. This is on par with other 12kW gas heaters available on the market.

Heating Type

You can use propane or butane with this heater. There is a storage area underneath this heater which will hold a tank up to 11kg in size.

Power Settings & Specifics

The Firefly 12kW stainless steel patio heater comes with a handy integrated push and turn ignition switch which instantly lights the patio heater and it doubles up as a power control switch as well. Giving you adjustable heat up to 12kW (40,000BTUs). It should be mentioned that while the burner is stainless steel, the stand is powder coated steel, so it’s worthwhile purchasing the cover.

Aesthetics

We’re big fans of the stainless steel look. Not only is it practical it offers a level of protection against the weather. If you’re going to get a gas patio heater, you might as well spend the extra £10 on a stainless steel version as not only do they look better than their non-powder steel counterparts, they’ll last a darn sight longer too!

You get a fair few extras for your money so bear with us!

Each patio heater comes with a flame safety feature which turns the gas off should you lose flame ignition. It also has a safety tilt switch, which also cuts off the flame should this heater fall –  making it a lot more family friendly.

For a heater in this price range we were pleasantly surprised to see that the gas regulator and hose included (for an 11kg tank).

This heater is pretty heavy, coming in at 27kg – thankfully it comes with transport wheels attached to the base.

The only thing that’s really missing is a cover, but you can No products found. separately when in stock.

Suitable For

Great for both home and commercial users. As with all gas patio heaters, please only use them outside!

Based on a 12000W free standing patio heater & a 11kg tank of gas (refill only) costing £29.99

12000W = 0.8kg (Based on the manufacturers 800g/h rating)

11kg / 0.8kg = 13.75 hours per 11kg tank of gas

£29.99 / 13.75 hours (At Full Power @12kW) =  £2.18 per hour

Low Power 5kW = £0.90 per hour

We can’t fault this heater. It does require some assembly but aside from that you’re golden!
