Fire Mountain Madrid Cast Iron Chiminea
Fire Mountain Madrid Review
If you’re in the market for a large solid cast iron chiminea then we can wholeheartedly recommend this product from Fire Mountain. It stands at 122.5cm tall and has a traditional closed side with open face design for maximum efficiency.
Cast iron chimineas have a distinctive edge over steel and powder coated constructed ones as they are built to last. Unfortunately they are someone what susceptible to rusting but with proper care and attention they will last year after year. The madrid chiminea comes with a weatherproof cover included so you won’t have to fork out extra for one.
The design isn’t overly intricate but for the price we can’t complain.
The Madrid includes a swing-out cast iron grill & weatherproof cover so you can use it as a patio heater or barbecue!
Some assembly and preparation is required before using it as a BBQ – during your first use the protective wax coating will melt off. You will need to allow this to cool and then remove any remaining wax to ensure no food spoilage.
It comes highly recommended with reviews from eBay and Amazon stating a high build quality and approval of item as a whole.

If you’re buying a chiminea you might as well get one that will stand the test of time. While you can buy cheaper chimineas with a steel construction they won’t last and you’ll have to fork out the same £50-60 year after year. We recommend spending the extra upfront and getting this one!
Price wise you should expect to pay between £130-135 for the Madrid. It does occasionally drop to the £99.99 mark when on sale but it’s usually priced around £130. Why not use our price tracker below to keep an eye on any deals available.back to menu ↑
