This easy to assemble stainless steel gas patio heater from Terra Hiker comes in two height variants – 215cm and 220cm – both of which are available for a similar price.

Heating Area

Thanks to its unique design, this 55,000 BTU heater offers a fantastic heating area of up to 30sqm. Far surpassing other heaters in this price bracket.

Heating Type

This heater uses propane as its fuel source and comes with a handy undercarriage storage compartment that can fit tank sizes up to 13kg.

Power Settings & Specifics

16kW – 55,000 BTU. More powerful than most gas patio heaters but also more efficient. The retailer claims a flux of 336g per hour, so a standard 13kg tank would last up to 38 hours. This is however only if the heater is run at its lowest power setting, on full you should expect a this heater to have a flux of 1-1.2kg per hour.

PatioMate’s Thoughts

We love this heater, it’s priced very fairly and offers a fantastic heating range. The build material is rust and corrosion resistant, although we do recommend purchasing a cover for it. Our only real niggle is that the regulator and hose aren’t supplied but these can be purchased elsewhere for around £15.
