Bulb Life & Heating Type

These heaters come with 3 infrared shortwave bulbs with an expected lifespan of 5,000 hours. Par for the course.

Replacement bulbs are available for roughly £10-15 each.

The Prem-I-Air 2kW weatherproof wall mounted heater has 3 heat settings (650W / 1350W / 2000W).

Rated 220-240V ~50hz and supplied with an ample 1.8m metre long power supply cable.

Ideal for home users – we wouldn’t recommend commercial users purchase this heater due to the pull cord operation.

Running Costs

At the purchase price of £44.99 this heater costs £0.009 per hour of usage (before electricity) .

We do however need to factor in the cost of electric, as without juice we won’t have any heat! The current average price per kWh in the UK is 14.7p:

There’s a shortage of suitable heaters available on the market due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This seems to be one of the only stockists currently still selling patio heaters. Usually these heaters would retail for between £30-35 but you should expect to pay in the region of £70-100 at the moment.
